Synopsis

In 2004, four years after the dissolution of the Yunnan Folk Culture Heritage Museum, documentary director Liu Xiaojin, at the invitation of folk artists from the museum, inherited Mr. Tian Feng's legacy and founded the Yunnan Original Folk Music Workshop. From September to October 2005, folk artists from the workshop had an opportunity to tour the United States. This was the first international cultural exchange event organized by the workshop. The film documents their 30-day performance tour in the United States and their visit to Mr. Tian Feng's gravesite after returning to Beijing.
