Synopsis
Two girls from two different worlds - they meet in the underground and try to heal their wounds, both physically and mentally, via their fantasies towards one another.
Director biography
Ka-ki graduated from the London Film School with an MA in Filmmaking in 2018. She is a Berlinale Talents, Golden Horse Film Academy, and Locarno Filmmakers Academy alumna, and a BAFTA Connect member. Her short Wild Child (2020) won the Fresh Wave Award, and Fire Room (2022) was shortlisted for the Sony Future Filmmakers Awards. Her feature projects have been selected for Film London PFM, Berlinale Script Station, Golden Horse WIP, and HAF. She is currently developing a hybrid documentary, The Way We Were, which has been presented at Sheffield MeetMarket, CNEX CCDF, and Docs By The Sea.
