Synopsis
After being disqualified again from his boxing match, Rocky plans to start ‘a new life’ in Yuen Long. He hears the life stories of other tenants, Raja and Bitto. They have nothing left, but he still has boxing, and that calling has never stopped.
Director biography
Sheung-man YIM holds a Master’s degree in Directing from the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts) and is an alumnus of the NAFF Fantastic Film School. His works The Tide and I Come Empty-Handed have won the Fresh Wave Award and the Special Mention Award at the Local Competition of Fresh Wave International Short Film Festival, respectively. His short film The Boy Who Shouted Teresa, along with his other works mentioned above, has been invited to numerous international film festivals around the world, including the Hong Kong International Film Festival (HKIFF) and the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival, where they have also won several awards. He is currently a screenwriter and translator.
